What is Fuzzy Trust
How to know if the information found on internet is reliable?
We are able to evaluate the reliability of what we directly know,
on the basis of our own experiences or our studies. But, even if we were the smartest or the most educated one,
we would be able to express an opinion only on a small part of all the available information.
Besides, we trust what other people tell us, for instance our friends
or the next-door neightbor, or also world fame experts which we can probably see
only on the media.
The idea of Fuzzy Trust is to create a network of people that believe in each other reliability.
This allows to calculate an individual reliability index
for each shared information. This index is not an absolute value: it is relative
to how great is our confidence in people we trust.
Using this network, Fuzzy Trust is able to provide a set of services,
like a personalized search engine.
